Non-Ski Trip Coordinator
The newly-created Non-Ski Trip Coordinator is a volunteer role responsible for overseeing, planning and organizing spring, summer, or autumn non-ski trips for the Club that last longer than one day. This person will be a member of the club's Council and they will submit for Council approval such details as trip dates and locations, number of seats offered, and sign-up dates.
Duties:
- Research and select destinations based on personal experience, Club survey results, and coordination with Council. 
- Once the destinations are selected, propose them to Council for approval. 
- Obtain bids from multiple tour operators which will arrange transportation and book accommodations. 
- Select tour operator based on received quotes, with Council approval. 
- Obtain contract signatures from the Club president, and submit initial deposit check requests. 
- Present the trip to qualified trip leaders and select a leader (and assistant leader if applicable.) 
- In conjunction with the selected leader(s), report trip status to Council monthly, including # of signups, “go/no-go” dates, and any problems or concerns.

- Cruises 
- Hikes 
- Historic tours 
- Cycling 
- Rafting/kayaking 
- Train excursions 
- Boating/sailing 
- Anything else you can dream up!
